Congratulations to the 2018 Prize Semifinalists!

We are pleased to announce the semifinalists for the Harbor Freight Tools for Schools 2018 Prize for Teaching Excellence. These 52 semifinalists are comprised of public high school teachers and teacher teams who hail from across the country. The judges who reviewed the first round of applications were overwhelmed with the level of interest and creativity.

Please see below for those semifinalists who will advance to the next round of competition for one of 18 prize awards–three first place prize awards of $100,000 with $70,000 going to the public high school skilled trades program and $30,000 to the individual teacher/team and fifteen second-place prize awards of $50,000 with $35,000 to the public high school program and $15,000 to the teacher/team.
